Trustee McCormick was elected by the County’s general members in 2013. She has a JD and a BSN in Nursing Science. She is a Certified Masters Forensic Nurse, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and Transformative Mediator. Ms. McCormick has served on the Safe Harbor Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center (MDIC) Steering Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ojai Raptor Center. Trustee McCormick is a graduate of the 2013 Public Pension Investment Management Program of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business sponsored by the State Association of County Retirement Systems (SACRS), and the 2013 Principles of Pension Management sponsored by the California Association of Public Retirement Systems (CALAPRS) at the Stanford School of Law.

Trustee McCormick has worked over 20 years for the County of Ventura as a nurse in the emergency room, intensive care, pediatrics, behavior health, and mental health.
