A retired trustee since 2005, Trustee Hoag served as a Personnel Analyst for 31 years in the County Executive Office’s Human Resource Division before retiring.

Trustee Hoag earned a BA in Psychology at San Fernando Valley State College, now called California State University Northridge (CSUN) and a MPA in Public Administration from the University of Southern California (USC). Mr. Hoag graduated from the Basic Principles of Pension Management sponsored by the California Association of Public Retirement Systems (CALAPRS) at the Stanford School of Law and regularly attends State Association of County Retirement System (SACRS), Investment Manager Client, Investment Consultant, and Fiduciary Counsel conferences each year. Mr. Hoag is the Secretary for the Retired Employees Association of Ventura County (REAVC) and a committee chair for the California Retired County Employees Association (CRCEA).
