Sim Tang-Paradis is the vice president and branch manager of City National Bank’s Westlake Village banking office. Ms. Tang-Paradis oversees the delivery of the bank’s full range of financial products and services, including commercial, consumer, and real estate loans, cash management services, deposits, international banking services, and foreign exchange. She also manages the office’s customer service and business development efforts.

Ms. Tang-Paradis has more than 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining City National, she served as a vice president and SBA business development officer with California Oaks State Bank in Thousand Oaks. She also held a similar role at Business Partners, LLC, and served in a variety of branch management positions with Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, Washington Mutual and First Interstate Bank. She began her career in First Interstate Bank’s Regional Occupational Program

Active in the community, she volunteers her time with several nonprofit and community organizations. She’s a board member of the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County, where she was the first and only Asian woman to chair this organization. Additionally, she serves on the board of the California State University, Northridge’s Construction Management Program’s Golf Committee, and recently joined the board of the Health Care Foundation for Ventura County. She also serves on the board of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency of Pasadena, which is operated by the SoCal Corporate Growth Partners, where she serves as board secretary.
